The ability to forgive allows one to live in harmony. There are 3 types of forgiveness: for yourself, for those you’ve harmed and for those that have harmed you. By releasing the initial harm and the energy you’ve used to hold on to it, you clear your present and future, and move forward.

On the journey to manifesting a goal, a dream, a vision whether small or great there will be three steps one will encounter. Depending on previous experience or preparation, we may encounter one or all three. It is important to remember that when these things happen do not become discouraged, instead recognize them as signs posted along the way that you are on the right path. MORE >1. The loss of something. Often when we are in the sequence of the 3 phases of pre-manifestation... (Desire, Declaration and Expectation), we will often experience the loss of something often related to the object of our desire. This is to make room for the new energy to pour into your lives. Here we must resist moving into negative states (resentment, bitterness, anger, jealousy of others, or frustration). Also remember things that matter to us be they people places, or things all are made up of energy, and therefore are never really lost. Energy never dies... it transmutes into new manifestations which we may or may not recognize.

3. Difficult Challenges, when the desire of our heart is manifesting there will be a period of adjustment or adaptation. This is a period where we must train and enlarge our minds, preparing ourselves to receive the expected increase. For example, if we are desiring declaring and expecting a promotion on our jobs, an increase in our incomes, a new automobile, there are changes or preparations we must execute. For example, an increase in knowledge, or a sharpening of skills is often required. With the acquisition of an increase there is also an increase in responsibility. To whom much is given much is required.

Do you have a fixed mindset or a growth mindset? Your mindset determines your behavior and thoughts leading to your success, your performance and your impact on staff, co-workers, family, and friends. There are two mindsets, fixed and growth. If you have a fixed mindset you believe abilities and intelligence are determined early in life. Therefore, challenges and failure only serve to support your belief. In contrast, if you have a growth mindset you view challenges and obstacles as opportunities to develop skills and continue growing and learning. Most individuals exhibit a combination of a fixed and growth mindset but intentionally cultivating a growth mindset results in enhanced resilience, increased accomplishments and expanded potential. In an organization, a growth mindset leader creates a culture of innovation, risk-taking, teamwork, and trust enabling others to adopt a growth mindset. MORE >In this interactive session, Dr. Susan Neustrom explores how mindsets are formed and the dynamics and strategies involved in shifting mindset to optimize positive impact both personally and professionally. Using the theoretical framework of mindset, grit, and mental contrasting this session will engage participants in a new approach to decision-making, problem solving, teaching, and learning.
