Dennis is a 1974 graduate of the University of Notre Dame Law School and has been engaged in the private practice of law for over 40 years. The emphasis of his practice is in estate planning, elder law, probate, mediation, and real estate.
Dennis received his forty hour training as a family mediator in 1985 and has been engaged in conducting mediation for divorcing couples since then. Dennis also served on the committee that worked for two years to create the mandatory mediation program for domestic relation cases for the 18th Judicial Circuit in DuPage County. Mediator, Dennis works with families dealing with elderly loved ones who struggle with issues such as nursing home placement, home care, control of funds, powers of attorney and the like. Dennis and his wife, Karin, have been married for 40 years. Karin has her own psychotherapy practice. They have three children, Bridget, Matthew and Meghan, and five grandchildren.
