About Janeen
Janeen McGreal is a LinkedIn expert and professional Connector. She recently pivoted her career to focus exclusively on helping students, professionals and companies with their LinkedIn brand presence. She has spoken to several groups including the CFA Society of Chicago and Score Mentors of North Chicago.
Janeen McGreal has held many leadership roles in the Chicago Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI). In the past twelve years she has served as the organization’s President, VP of Programming, VP of Membership, VP of Communication and Director at Large.
Janeen founded the young professionals group known as the FEI Chicago Analyst and Associate Board (AAB) and serves as the group’s Mentor and Advisor. The AAB connects young finance and accounting professionals and students with the executive members of the FEI Chapter. The AAB is a growing model program for the National organization.
Janeen has worked diligently in all capacities to innovate and implement new programming including founding the signature CFO of the Year Awards, starting the wildly successful Chapter Golf outing, starting the Strategic Professional Women’s Alliance known today as the IDEA (Inclusion Diversity Equity Association) and engaging past scholarship recipients and high performing talent as a pipeline for the Chapter (AAB).
Janeen has extensive experience in Chapter operations, communications, and social media strategy.
Janeen McGreal is a CPA and earned a BA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin Madison and holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Roosevelt University. In her career, she has held numerous senior financial leadership roles in organizations serving the real estate, banking, private equity and manufacturing industries.
Janeen is passionate about volunteerism through her non-for-profit board affiliations and enjoys guiding the next generation of young professionals and students to achieve success through mentoring and networking.
