For the last eight years Henry has been an Outreach Educator for Citizens Climate Lobby (CCL), a non-profit, non-partisan, volunteer organization. CCL’s mission is to empower citizens to take action with their Members of Congress for a solution to Climate Change. Henry works with our Congressmen locally and in D.C. to discuss their perspective on Climate Change and find common ground. He currently serves as Citizens Climate Lobby’s Liaison to Senator Durbin.
Henry recently completed a Senior Fellowship at Illinois Tech’s Office of the Vice Provost - Student Access & Diversity Initiative. His focus was activating students on the issues and solutions to Climate Change. He helped students advocate directly with Congress for a carbon pricing policy and channel their engineering disciplines toward clean energy careers.
Finally, Henry has been trained by Vice President Gore in climate science and communications to help communities take action for a solution to Climate Change providing presentations to local clubs, schools, Faith Institutions and municipal leadership.
