Donald lives in Arlington Heights, IL where he raised his family. He attended Michigan State University and earned his MBA at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in Illinois. He retired as a product marketing professional in the high tech industry and is now pursuing a writing career.
He recently became a climate activist by attending Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project (CRP) Leadership training in 2020. He is a member of CRP, the IL Chicago Metro Chapter of CRP and the Sierra Club. He is the Chairperson of the Regenerative Agriculture Campaign Committee and serves on several other IL Chicago Metro Chapter committees, all concerned about the effects of climate change and how to stop it.
He was raised on a family farm in Central Michigan and is concerned how industrial farming methods have degraded our top soils, polluted our waterways and oceans with chemical fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides, lowered food nutrients values and harmed our environment to the point of disaster.

This presentation will show you why it is essential to keep global average temperature from surpassing 1.5 degrees Celsius to prevent irreversible climate change events. Much of this can be accomplished by implementing climate-smart policies into the 2023 Farm Bill.
