Rewrite the Story: Becoming Someone You Wouldn’t Have Been Before
Most of us have an old story running quietly underneath our lives: I’m not enough. I’m too much. I don’t matter. I’m not lovable. I have to do everything myself. We didn’t consciously choose these beliefs; many were formed through early experiences and then reinforced until they began to feel like truth. This talk reveals the extraordinary possibility that our past may explain our story without having to dictate its ending.
Through the process described as rematrixing, insight becomes only the beginning: we experiment with new behaviors, repeatedly create new experiences, and gradually embody a more empowering story—I matter. I am lovable. I have something to contribute. I can be fully myself. Transformation, then, isn’t simply knowing something we didn’t know or doing something we haven’t done. It is becoming someone we wouldn’t otherwise have become. And that means the story we’ve lived so far doesn’t have to be the story we live next.
