As a life-long learner and passionate believer in the power of business to impact our lives and our world, John has always been drawn to ideas and principles that are grounded in the notion that success is defined not only by achievement, but by effort as well. The power of setting and achieving goals is as much or more about the journey as it is about successfully reaching the target.
John has enjoyed a successful career as a leader and manager of companies both large and small. In John's most recent "real job" he was both an owner and Chief Operating Officer responsible for leading his firm which was engaged in the retail marketing industry.
Using his real world experience, John has become a professional business coach and training facilitator serving small businesses in the $2M-$50M range. John is a Certified Implementer of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), a business operating model designed for owners and their leadership teams. His goal is to help companies simplify, clarify and achieve their visions.
John holds a BA in History from the University of Colorado and an MS in Supply Chain management. John and his wife Stacy have two sons, both graduates of the University of Iowa, and lives in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. When he's not working with clients, he spends his time cycling through the western suburbs, skiing and fishing in Colorado, and chasing his two dogs around the yard.
